Now with the popularity of anime, it is safe to assume that a large amount of famous people watch it. However for whatever reason there doesn't seem, to be that many "open" Otakus in the world. Well that can't be said about the Prime Ministers of Japan, Junichiro Koizumi and Taro Aso who are known for their love of anime.
