Did you know anime?: The former Prime Ministers of Japan watch anime and read manga.

 
Now with the popularity of anime, it is safe to assume that a large amount of famous people watch it. However for whatever reason there doesn't seem, to be that many "open" Otakus in the world. Well that can't be said about the Prime Ministers of Japan, Junichiro Koizumi and Taro Aso who are known for their love of anime. In fact Junichiro had his own anime made based off of his life!Aso is also a avid manga reader and was spotted
at an airport reading Rozen Maiden and thus earned him the title of "His Excellency Rozen"
